It's not intended to tell you we get limits every time out. We don't. Not every hunting or fishing trip is going to harvest limits and some are going to end up getting nothing at all. That's why it's called 'hunting' or 'fishing'.

Rather, we want to let our past clients express their opinions on the overall quality of their outing. Was their site aesthetically enjoyable?? Were they treated like a hunting or fishing buddy instead of like a 'customer'?? Was their guide personable and knowledgeable?? And how successful were they in taking fish or game?? NOTE FROM BIG LAKE OUTDOORS: Mr. Grounds' hunt scheduled for February 3 had to be rescheduled until Fall 2008 due to family commitments. His first outing with us will be in late-November 2008. When he learned we were creating this page, he offered the following comment:

After a gooseless hunt with you in January 2007, we considered not coming back for the 'make-up' hunt you offered us for this season. I think I can speak for all of us and say we're glad we did. We had a fantastic time and would love to return in the future.

We also appreciated you sharing helpful hints about goose hunting and were impressed to see actual geese demonstrate what you had been talking about only minutes before.

John,

I've hunted with you in 80 degrees and wind chills of -15. We haven't always killed or even seen geese, but I've enjoyed sharing a blind with you and you've always done me right after a bad day in the field or when we had to call off a hunt-in-progress (January 19 & 20, 2008: Temperatures of 10 - 15 degrees, Winds gusting to 30+ mph, Blizzard conditions).

I especially appreciated the time you took to help me train Sam when he was on his first hunt back in '05. The advice and hints you gave me in that area have been very helpful and Sam is turning out to be a good retriever for me. To show my appreciation, you'll be getting one of his pups this spring. I'll send you pictures when they're born so you can decide on which one you want.

When setting up the hunt John was very prompt in returning E-mails and phone calls. He was very professional during the hunt and put forth much effort trying to ensure we would have an opportunity to kill geese.
